When and for what purpose do we collect personal data?
Kissling Legal only collects, stores or processes data for its own business purposes.
In principle, our website is available to all visitors without actively or passively collecting personal data. Personal data is only requested, processed and used to the extent necessary to provide the services you have commissioned.
Collection of general information
When you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the name and version of your web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider and similar. This is exclusively information that does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person. This information is technically necessary to correctly deliver the contents of our website that you have called up and is mandatory when using the Internet. Anonymous information of this kind is statistically evaluated by us in order to optimize our Internet presence and the technology behind it.
Handling of your personal data
We only handle personal data insofar as this is possible in accordance with data protection regulations. We take all technical and organizational security measures to ensure that your personal data is adequately protected against unauthorized access or misuse at all times.
Insofar as we store or process personal data, this takes place within a closed data processing system. To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use an encryption process via HTTPS.
All our employees and agents involved are obliged to comply with the provisions of Swiss legislation and the EU GDPR - insofar as it affects us at all - when handling personal data.
Cookies
Our website uses so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files that are transferred from a web server to your hard disk. This automatically provides us with certain data such as the IP address, the browser used, the operating system and your connection to the Internet. Cookies cannot be used to start programs or transfer viruses to a computer. Based on the information contained in cookies, we can make navigation easier for you, enable the correct display of our website or the filling of a shopping basket.
Of course, you can also visit our website without cookies. However, Internet browsers are usually set to accept cookies. However, you can deactivate the use of cookies at any time via your browser settings. Please use the help functions of your Internet browser to find out how you can change these settings.

Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", i.e. text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of our website. The information collected by the cookie about your use of our website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Kissling Legal uses Google information to compile reports and obtain information on the use of our website, for example how often an individual content page was visited, which country site visitors came from, how long they stayed on our website and where they left our website. No information is merged with other Google data (e.g. data from the DoubleClick network) in order to create personal data records (profiling).
In general, you can prevent the storage of analytics cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by installing the browser plug-in available under the following link to deactivate Google Analytics: https://tools.google.com/dlpag...
